Dental Implants

Tooth loss can be frustrating and there are many options using implants to restore not only your smile but your overall self-confidence.  This revolutionary advance in dentistry has led us to many options of how we replace teeth.  Dental implants are small titanium posts that replace the roots of missing teeth. These posts then serve as anchor for crowns or dentures or bridges. The first step is to know what your needs are.  At Tarpon Dental we offer complementary implant consultation to answer any questions you may have. At your initial visit, Dr. Seema Amin and her caring team will complete a comprehensive exam and determine what options might be best for you.

Types of Dental Implant replacements:

Single teeth

A missing tooth can easily be replaced with a single tooth implant.  This will help preserve the jawbone in this area and will function like it is a natural tooth.  It is also a beneficial option compared to a bridge since it will not sacrifice the health of neighboring teeth.

Full or Hybrid Dentures

For those that may have lost many teeth, implants can be used to anchor removable appliances.  Traditional dentures have nothing to hold them in and can create embarrassing situations as well as be an annoyance when trying to enjoy your food.  With today’s implant options you can have a little as two implants to help anchor a denture to give you a better quality of life.

All on 4 Technique

Today we have teeth replacement strategies that involve placing 4-6 implants per arch and fabricating a complete bridge that is permanently put in sometimes the same day.  If you think this might be a good option for you then schedule a complementary consultation with us to go over your options.
